Real homes, real Christmases

Every photo here is a job I actually did. Themed trees, playful rooms, and homes where every room got its own look. Browse for ideas. If something catches your eye, say 'like that, but in my colors.' That's plenty to start with.

Candy cane

Red and white stripes, peppermint ornaments, and ribbon worked deep into the branches. This is the tree kids run straight to, and I never get tired of building it.

The Grinch

A little mischief for the holidays. Green and red, a Naughty sign, and enough whimsy to make everyone who walks past it grin.

Red and gold

The classic, and it earns its place every year. Wide ribbon woven through the branches, warm gold, and deep red, layered until the whole tree glows.

White and silver

Calm, cool, and a little bit glam. Pearl ribbon, silver picks, and oversized ornaments that catch every bit of light in the room.

Flocked and frosted

Snow on the branches inside to match the snow outside the window. Flocked trees carry silver and gold beautifully, and in a Wisconsin winter they look like they grew that way.
